Just over four years ago, we had a dream. As world travelers ourselves, we knew that many more people would take advantage of their vacation time if it were easier, cheaper and less work.

We started World Resort Vacation out of a small office in Winnipeg Manitoba with the idea that we could assemble the best Canadian travel agents in the industry and provide avid travelers with the best deals and top notch service to meet all their fun, adventure, relaxation and rejuvenation needs! Our success was so overwhelming that in January of 2006, we opened a second branch in Edmonton, Alberta. We're currently moving full steam ahead at franchising  right across Canada!

As with anything in life, snagging travel deals is all about connections and who you know. At World Resort Vacation, we feel we're in the optimal position to connect you with the inside deals.

For instance, our parent company, Independent Agency Services (IAS), has been around since 1994, successfully matching travelers with corporate and incentive travel deals all over Canada. To maintain a consistent level of top-caliber customer service, IAS trains travel agency partners nationwide.

Another one of our travel agency partners -- Travel Professionals International (TPI), the LEISURE travel division -- has operated for over 14 years as one of the largest Canadian travel agency networks with over 500 associates from coast to coast!

Additionally, PlanIt Worldwide Corporation focuses on CORPORATE meetings, providing full event design and facilitation for some of Canada's largest corporations.

World Resort Vacation opened, specifically, as the VACATION OWNERSHIP division. Immediately, we aligned ourselves with leaders in the industry and became members of the Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Better Business Bureau.

As a member of CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) and ACTA (Association of Canadian Travel Agents), we have access to literally thousands of travel options.

We're an IATA (International Air Transport Association) accredited Canadian travel agency, which means we have access to the licensing and governing body overseeing 95% of the internationally scheduled air traffic as well.
