Please describe your first impression of the property upon arrival (were the grounds well kept? Impressive lobby area?)

Upon arrival, one is overwhelmed by the grandiose grounds. The complex is very spacious, yet easy to navigate. Also, the grounds are beautifully manicured, quiet and very secure.

What about the staff? Where they friendly? Helpful? We were greeted by a representative who walked us through all the resort had to offer, and offered deals to Disney and other venues for a discount.

Did you check into a standard guest room, suite or condo? Condo/resort

How many did your unit sleep? 8+

Were the beds comfortable? (describe) Firm, yet comfortable. The master suite had a kind-sized bed and the other room had 2 queen sized bed. All appeared new, and were very nice to sleep on.

What were some of the best things about your room? Was it spacious, well decorated (quality furnishing?), clean? Did you have a kitchen/fireplace, /Jacuzzi? BBG or a balcony? The entire suite was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The floors were made of tiles that were twenty four inches. The rooms were very spacious, which is so relaxing especially after taking in the local sites with the crowds. The two queen sized beds added to the relaxation for the kids. Also, the balcony (screened in) was amazing to sit in during the evening as the fireworks from Disney could be seen, and the tropical animals sounded like a symphony, this adding to the relaxation. In the master bedroom, was a double jaccuzi which was beautiful. Similarly, there were TV’s in each room, one of which was a large screen, which meant everyone had their space. The living room was furnished with an “L-shaped” leather couch, and the decorating was very tasteful. The entire resort is located on a native reserve, this allowing for many interesting sites and sounds.

Tell us a bit about the services that you used at the property which were your favorites?

Which could you of done without? Why?

We used the tickets purchasing which saved us about $250.00 US. Also, we used free continental breakfast and the on-site Pizza Hut. We found the heat difficult to deal with so we limited what we did outside. The traveling gold carts were nice if you got tired of walking.

Were the restaurants or room service available on sight? How was the food? What about the service?

The continental breakfast was offered at poolside and was buffet formals. The on-site Pizza Hut offered a lot of variety for very reasonable prices. (2 large pizzas-many toppings for $25.00-delivered to our suite)

Did you participate in any activities off of the property? If so what did you do? Were they easy to find/get to? Tell us a bit about them.

This resort is 2 miles away from the Disney main gates, and very easy to find. We bought our tickets through the resort and saved a lot of money. We also bought tickets for Arabian night’s dinner theater (a show that was somewhat cheesy.) The shopping at the outlet mall is easy to find and is loaded with bargains and designer finds. Renting a car is a must but easy to navigate the Orlando, Kissimmee areas. Likewise, there are many local Wal-Marts and other grocery stores so you can eat in your suite.

Would you recommend this property to your friends/family/other WRV members? Why or why not

One of the best parts of this vacation was the suite. It was so nice for everyone to have their own personal space. We would get up in the morning, watch TV, have coffee and the kids could sleep in. Having two bathrooms was so nice. After the crowds of Disney and the Outlet malls the Wyndham became an oasis of solitude, a place just like home.

How would you rate your overall satisfaction with your vacation property? Please share any additional comments.

I would rate this property 10/10. After being at this property it will be difficult to go anywhere else. I would go back in a second, and toured a three bedroom suite (2400 sq. ft) for the time when we go away with the kids’ families. All suites are tastefully decorated, and I feel the focus is an Oasis from the crowds
